Free users get 4 free searches every month. Subscription plans include a higher monthly free search limit plus credits for going beyond that limit and unlocking full results.

You can use free searches to see whether a search finds anything promising. If it does, you can choose to unlock the full result and all its sources. A full result unlock always costs credits, whether you are using a one-time credit pack or subscription credits. This means you get a chance to evaluate the search first and pay only when a result looks worth unlocking.

Our search process is resource-intensive and costly to run, so free usage is limited. That is why we offer a mix of free searches, one-time credit packs, and subscriptions for people who need more searches, more unlocks, and more flexibility every month.

We believe this is the fairest way to try our face search. You can first see whether a search looks promising, then decide if unlocking the full result is worth it for you.

Free usage is limited because each search is expensive for us to process.

Choose a one-time purchase if you only need to unlock a result once or solve a one-off task.

Choose a subscription if you expect to search regularly, unlock results more often, or want more monthly flexibility.

We do not try to push a subscription when you only need one useful unlock. That is why we offer a one-time credit pack. If you only need Surfface once, you should be able to pay once.

One-time is best if you have a single search or result you want to unlock without committing to a subscription.

Personal is best for ongoing use. It is a good fit if you search regularly for things like safer dating checks, catfishing detection, identity theft monitoring, or repeated lookups over time.

Plus is best for higher-volume use if you want more monthly credits, more free searches, unlimited history, and priority support.

A full result unlock gives you access to the complete search result, including all sources connected to it. It uses 4 credits.

This lets you first use free searches to spot promising matches, then decide whether it is worth unlocking the full result with all sources. You only pay when you want deeper access to a result that looks useful.

We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other popular online payment methods through Stripe, our payment processor.

For larger custom billing needs, enterprise customers can also get manually handled billing through our sales team.

Credits are used for paid actions after your free usage.

You can use credits for:

• 1 extra search = 4 credits
• 1 full result unlock with all sources = 16 credits

This means you are mainly paying for deeper access to valuable results, not just for running searches.

Paid credits roll over and never expire.

Subscription credits reset every billing cycle and do not roll over.

This gives you flexibility when you buy extra credits, while keeping subscription usage tied to your monthly plan.

Once you use all your free searches, you can continue in two ways:

• buy a one-time credit pack
• use a subscription with monthly credits and more free searches

This keeps the product fair and flexible. You can start for free, then only pay if you want to go further.

You can cancel your subscription anytime through Manage Billing in Stripe.

We'll be honest. Somewhere on the team, a few people may quietly start crying when a subscription gets canceled. We hear their cry. But if canceling is the right choice for you, you can do it anytime.

Cancel via the Pricing page

2. Click Manage Billing
3. This opens Stripe
4. Click Cancel subscription

Alternative path via Account Settings

1. Click the user icon in the top-right corner
2. Open Account settings
3. Click More → Manage billing
4. In Stripe, click Cancel subscription

Yes. You can buy extra credits at any time without changing your current subscription.

Extra paid credits roll over and never expire, so they stay in your balance until you use them.
